With the WFB back at the shop, Team Klock Werks sponsored the WFB Traveling Cup Award hoping to inspire others to come to the Salt Flats and go after Laura’s record. The winner did not have to set a record – just had to turn in their official timing slip with the contestant’s top speed for a one-way pass. Four teams arrived to participate in the race for the cup – Chris Rivas of Chris Rivas V-Twin, Kevin Edgmon of High Country Harley Davidson, Thomas T.R. Reiser of T-Man Performance, and Rob Hassey of RacePro, Inc. (Unfortunately, Hassey crashed on his first pass and was unable to continue racing the rest of the week.)

Brian and Laura Klock might be one of the most dynamic duo in the kustom motorcycle world today. But they didn’t get there overnight. In 2006 Brian and his Klock Werks Krew were invited to participate in the Discovery Channel Biker Build Off. Not only were they the first every to build a bagger for the show; they were the first in Discovery Channel history to win the biker build off with that bagger! Laura isn’t hiding in the shadows though, she definitely holds her own in the motorcycle world. Laura participates in Woman’s Bike Builds, she’s motivational speaker, and a wonderful mother of two just to name a few. She’s also the pilot of the WFB. That’s the World’s Fastest Bagger for those of you who have been under a rock for the past three years. The Bonneville Salt Flats have almost become a second home to the Klock Family and the Krew. Last year four amazing ladies went to race and they came home with FIVE RECORDS!
